DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION DOWNLOAD 1.0
1. Installabunch version 2.0
This component help to install a bunch of extension.
I.e. Virtuemart has 12 modules. It's a pain to install them one by one. But you can install them like a one package using this component.
To use it you have to copy the needed packages inside the archive file into the folder /files Be sure, that all the files are installable joomla extensions. So in case of Virtuemart you'll get something like this::
/installabunch.xml /install.installabunch.php /admin.installabunch.php /index.html /assets/[..files..] /controllers/[..files..] /css/[..files..] /js/[..files..] /models/[..files..] /views/[..files..] /files/index.html /files/mod_product_categories_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_productscroller_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_cart_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_currencies_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_featureprod_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_latestprod_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_login_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_manufacturers_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_randomprod_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_search_1.1.6.j15.zip /files/mod_virtuemart_topten_1.1.6.j15.zip
Next just install the files as a regular joomla component. After the installation finished, you'll get a prompt to remove redundant files - do it. The component installes some data (component itself) used only once, so it's not critical, but optional to remove it.
NOTE: If your archive is big, read this: how to install joomla extension from folder
Changes 2.0:
- allows to select which files to install
- allows to install components
